Massive fail from me, I exceeded my food budget (although I'm hoping to claw it back before the end of the month), and I blew my misc spends budget by buying painkillers. £4.53 instead of £3. :(

It's my first week so at least it can only get better (and if anyone knows a cheaper alternative to feminax ultra, I'm all ears, they are SO expensive but I have never found anything else that works)

Pointy please put me as £4.53 and my budget as £3. It's a red anyway.

  • Good morning all!

This thread is getting more and more popular by the week - the pledge list gets longer every time I check in - thank you Pointy for managing the thread!

Unfortunately, I've come in red this week with a spend of £169.89/£150 - spent slightly more on my planned big food shop, unexpectedly met up with a mate whose wedding I'm Best Man to talk through his wedding plans so spent on travel (he insisted on paying for eats n treats so saved there at least), and bought stuff on eBay for above mentioned Stag do (items only cost me 20% of RRP - every cloud ...).

Things should be back to normal next week, so I'm making a return to my lucky pledge of £35 - thank you Pointy!

Well done everyone who came in green, and congrats Saz with your purple!

£3.51 for me all weeks folks, so green please. I'd have managed purple if not for those pesky socks that insisted I buy them .

Can I budget £15.15 next week please Pointy.
