    What are the symptoms?

It started with a single strip of bad artifacts down the left hand side of the screen. I then got a blue screen with a error I don't remember. On reboot the whole screen is fuzzy and full of artifacts. I tried using an external monitor but the results where even worse.
  • Here is what I believe to be the best sub-£600 fully-featured laptop currently available.
Infact, I don't think such a capable machine has been so cheap in a long while!

    £519.97

    * "FREEDEL" for free standard delivery still works until 23:59 this-evening.
    * Go through Quidco for 2% (£10.40) cashback.

So a grand total of £509.57 delivered.

The sister site (acerdirect) has just increased the price by £5, so I'd wager that the price at laptopsdirect will be going up by the same amount within the next 24 hours.
    So I suggest acting quickly!

All this info. is duplicated @ the deal i've posted on hukd, here.

That's a fantastic price thanks TehJumpingJawa. Seriously tempted.

If it does it in safe mode, it sounds like nvidia gpu overheating, some manufacturers have issued a recall or extended warranty for the nvidia overheat problems.
