New Central heating install, opinions please??

Had a few quotes for a new CH install, and am thinking about going for the cheaper option, Glow Worm Betacom 30 Combi, 6 rads, trvs... £2800.... 2 yr warrant on boiler... Have been told I dont really need a room thermostat as the boiler has internal thermostat, and the trvs can control the temps of the rads...
But am having mixed thoughts about Glow Worm...
My oter option is to spend an extra £1000 on a quote for a Valliant, RF thermostat, and 5 yr warrant on full instllation...
I know I prop shouldnt cut corners, but a grand is lot of extra cash.. is it really worth it????

I think a stat is a legal requirement now. Its best to have one anyway.0

Agree with the post above that a room stat is a legal rquirement for new CH installations.
However is this to replace an existing system?
Whilst David29dpo knows what he is talking about, I know some plumbers think they are a waste of time as siting them is a compromise. I just turn mine up to max and use the TRVs.0 -
Good morning: avoid the Betacom...a Band B boiler with a short warranty. Try a Remeha Avanta or Viessmann Vitodens 100 as value for money options with 5 year P+L warranty offered by some RGIs.
Btw..the HHIC is an excellent source of advice on central heating and hot water.
