I have an 02 Astra 1.7 DTI but can't tell which type it is

Hi, I've just bought the car in the title and now I'm trying to insure it. When I put my registration number in on Moneysupermarket I'm told it must either be an Envoy, LS or Club. But it doesn't mention anywhere on the car or on the registration document which type it is. How could I find this out?

Its the trim level. Easiest way round this is to look at whatcar or parkers where the trim levels are explained. Envoy is the base, club is top?

The easiest way might be to take the VIN to a Vauxhall dealer and ask.

I'm trying that but still can't discern the difference...

There might be a badge at the very front of the front doors, level with the indicator repeaters. Otherwise use parkers to check off what equipment you have and haven't got and work it out from that. I can't believe the previous owner managed to not tell you!

Envoy = manual windows, LS=Sunroof, Club=aircon (usually....)

Dunno my old man had an Astra LS, no sunroof but had aircon.

Right lets try and work this out then. What equipment have you got on your car? Aircon? Sunroof? Electric windows etc...
