Unsolicited DVD.

I have, this morning, received by post a DVD entitled 'Super Fighters'. It has been sent to me by: Weapons of War in Sunderland.
I have absolutely no interest in this type of DVD and I did not ask for it to be sent to me. I have never heard of 'Weapons of War' until today!
I believe there is a consumer right which states that if unsolicited goods are not collected by the sender within a specified period of time then the recipient can dispose of them as he/she thinks fit.
Is this correct? Should I ask Weapons of War to collect their unwanted DVD?
(I cannot be bothered to go to the hassle of sending the darned thing back and I'll sell it on eBay if that is legal!)

I can't find an actual invoice but there is literature asking me to subscribe to future editions. There is also an 0870 number given to arrange for unwanted returns. I will NOT ring that number to be charged for a 'phone call to arrange the return of something I didn't ask for and don't want!0 -

(a) It says on the leaflet that calls to the given number are chargeable at national rate.
(b) Why should I incur even minimal costs and go to the trouble of returning something I didn't ask for in the first place?
If they want it back they can come and pick the garbage up!0 -

Just do as Custardy says and it won't cost you anything.0

For unsolicited goods (assuming it really was addressed to you and not a postal mistake) there's no need to do anything. It's your property to do what you want with as soon as it was put through your letter box. Just bin it, I would."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Absolutely not! Sorry, but I'm not prepared to lift a finger to return unsolicited goods. Rubbish at that!0
