    :j:jHaving written several snotty letters to Capital One I got a letter this mornign saying they still don't think they missold me PPI's and thats that, However as a gesture of goodwill they are refunding all of my PPI payments with the interest charged as well :j:j

    Its only £139.56 but its so unexpected - yippee - thanks for telling me to keep at it you lot!!!!

    Even the snottyness of the letter does not take away the nice feeling of getting some dosh back!

    Today I have/will do:

    Scratchies
    Check online banking and update spending diary/signature
    Have another NSD!
    Declutter my room
    Have a niiice loong bath and use up some of the toiletries that are cluttering up the bathroom (still!)
    Finish The Checkout Girl- anyone who has ever worked on the checkouts should read this, it's so so funny!
    Print out the forms to get sent statutory credit reports and write the cheques
    Pray for a survey worth 75p so I can get a payout from Valued Opinions and get my sister her birthday present! (Ok, it's not til June but I want to be prepared!)

    Check online banking
    Paid off some of credit card
    Pay min payment to my loan
    Have a NSD
    Have a long hot shower tonight before gf comes over ;)
    Tonight i will....do something priceless with gf :D

    Well cabin fever has well and truely set in for me!

    Today I:
    • checked online banking and my wages cheque has cleared!
    • will be having something really exciting for dinner as the freezer poking adventure cntinues
    • am considering going into town for a few bit of shopping - considering mind you!

    hi everyone
    today i have checked online banking,
    done scratch cards
    entertained myself on fb games.
    feel stranded at home because of this snow - and i didn't really want to go anywhere any way so why do i feel this way?
    watching stuff we recorded over christmas
    OH is doing a 12 hours shift, so i have to do my bit and do some tidying up/sorting out
    free up one corner in the bedroom so can find the storage heater, OH found a damp patch in a place we've never had one before
    clean down walls and windows for condensation/damp
    got calor gas on but can still see my breath in the living room
    got washing on the airers, and the dehumidifer on
    got to sort out the animals

    have not posted here for a while, however have noticed that recently have become a bit extravagent and non DFW:eek:.
    THEREFORE MY LIST FOR THIS WEEKEND INCLUDES
    check out sale bargains to stock up on gifts
    turn down heating by one degree
    utilise end of cooked chicken lurking in fridge
    make a menu for week
    freeze sandwiches to take to work next week
    make a pot of soup
    mend DHs work trousers
    online surveys
    NSD Sunday:D

    ps feels good to be back;)

    afternoon all,

    still soooo cold....so difficult to keep the heating low!! I turn it off as soon as DDs gone to bed and snuggle on sofa with a blanket!

    Today so far I have:

    - checked online banking
    - got petrol at tescos for points
    - no other spending other than petrol (and lottery ticket)
    - done ironing :j
    - tea from meal plan - roast chicken yummmmmmm:D
    - tidied kitchen
    - shredded old paperwork
    -made fairy cakes
    - tidied kitchen again
    - DDs iced and decorated fairy cakes
    - tidied kitchen again :p
    - changed my bed (lovely clean bedding tonight - lush)
    - entered all ending comps on the comps thread up to ones ending tomorrow:D

    Still to do:

    - look at my script ready for all day panto rehearsal tomorrow
    - finish cooking the roast chicken (can smell it!!!)
    - have lazy evening on sofa in front of telly :D

    My dfw things for today;

    • 2 lots of Washing done and hung indoors
    • Cashed in scratch card from my dad
    • River Island – brought a top for £5 reduced from £35 :T
    • Breakfast at parents
    • Lunch – DH brought me stuff from Greggs
    • M&S – Returned item for a refund
    • Will do piggy clicks - done
    • Will enter competitions - done - lots!!
    • answered question from a potential buyer on Ebay
    • written a to do list for tomorrow
