Morning all.
I've got a beef stew in the SC, with beer  and we're planning a nice walk out in the forest a bit later, hopefully there will be some snow around.
I need to lose around 3 stone at least, I'm 5ft 1ish and weigh 13 stone!! Currently in size 18 trousers and size 16 tops, I have a wobbly baby tummy so I seriously need to do something
:o:o
Hope you all have warm/safe days xxx
ps - Sally, is that the house in The Holiday? I keep on about wanting a house with the door in the middle and windows either side, I'm obsessed with it in fact!! On the way to Exbury Gardens there is a house exactly like that with 2 chimneys and in the middle of the forest... one day
No its a house just down the road from me...me want it!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I dont think so Zed, its the condense pipe so as long as the water can trickle through it will work even if its trickling around ice in the pipe.

The rain turned to snow and it's been doing it for hours now....albeit light stuff that's not really adding to what's left...doesn't seem as cold today either.
Got all the veg prepped for roast dinner but cheating with some of left over christmas gammon from the freezer (shall bung it in gravy to heat up)...peeled and chopped the last of my fresh veg to go in a veggi curry tomorrow....how organised.
I fancy making a cake for tea, a proper sponge with jam and butter cream and icing.....might be nice for a change."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Def not as cold today, have been and done tesco and managed to escape by 10:05 when the hoards arrived! Overspent at tesco and had to use money from the bills account but there was nothing on the list I could put back..even had to come away without tampax (sorry tmi) and hope bingo money hits my account tomorrow so I can buy some! Feeling a bit sorry for myself today so have dug through the cupboards and discovered some dry fruit that I have made a tea bread with which we will have for Sunday Tea
Actually I might try and make some crumpets, saw the hairy bikers making them the other day.
Could be worse though hey!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I keep meaning to have a go at making crumpets. I've had a Gary Rhodes recipe for years (basically the one the hairy bikers used) that I keep thinking I'll have a go at. I love crumpets, I do

It can't decide whether to rain or snow here. Keep getting heavy snow followed by drizzle.
Go to phone round and cancel tomorrow's Brownies now.
I need more neighbours on Farmville if I've missed anyone.0 -
Eeek, OH just called, was on his way over when he reversed out of his drive and heard/felt a thump, and got out to look, his passenger side has slumped, looks like the spring or something has gone, so he's having to get to his Dad's to borrow his car.... I can't go get him as DD asleep plus my car is running on fumes at the moment... always something with bloomin cars :mad::mad::mad::mad: he hasn't got the money to repair it so that will go on his CC :mad:
Sorry.. rant over!!
My chilli is smelling lovely in the SC
Morning you lovely people :j
Just to put your mind at ease, that happenend to my little Ford KA, it was the spring above the tyre (don't know technical terms!!) it cost me about £30 to have repaired. That went with a loud bang, and the car just kinda slumped on the side. So fingers crossed its something small like that.
I think my skin disease is on its way out!!!!
I don't really resmeble a scary monster anymore so will hopefully completely clear up so I can wear my nice dress for my leaving party. Starting to panic about leaving here a bit now, just keep telling myself its only a flight away!! Time to start a new chapter of my life now. God why do I make myself do these things! ha

Met office said yesterday that we'd be getting 15/20cms over night....woke up to rain instead so everything's nearly melted away. It's now just saying cloud for the next 4 days...
Haven't done a full shop since before christmas so really need to get the store cupboards restocked, will put in a Mr T order later.
Need to have a trawl through my craft stuff and find something to do, getting a bit stir crazy with all this naff weather.
