    Personally I would have stuck with it - in the car I am part of 1.5 tons of steel - outside the car I am 0.1 tons of soft, squishy stuff...

    I would advise against doing that. It would mean yet more weeks of wearing other people's socks...

    Snowed lightly last night but seems just to be as deep as yesterday on pavements and roads full of slush etc. Looks like I'll have to drive to work tomorrow :( I really am not looking forward to the drive - best part of 25 miles each way and my car is not best suited to the weather. I was hoping for more snow for another day at home.

    Wish I could stay home but I do like paying the mortgage, so guess going to work will have to be tried.

    Hope you are all OK today.
