And also when you start to talk to people right, maybe others would you.
Ermm, look at my previous posts and yours. I'll leave it there shall I..... By the way, what does the way I speak to people have to do with your signature? Confused? You ought to be!

Come on - new year. new leaf? No need to be such a nob all the time, really is there?
I think the irony has been lost on you here sorry to say NID
He is AGAINST unenforceabilty - so therefore Pro Anti Unenforceability makes sense

He is pro-anti-unenforceability which equates to pro-enforceability.
That is what I have been saying lol
Its like me saying i'm anti hunting so I state 'I am pro-anti-hunting', i.e. I am for against hunting

vanquis accepted me a few months ago although i have a good credit rating and many other cards. so i don't think they reject people on the basis of having too good a rating. I just did it as a scam to get the £25 quidco bonus :money:squaaaaaaaaacccckkkkkk!!!! :money:0

No, not when he is trying to be sarcastic in the first place - thus the actual shame is on him, not me!
Anyway, what rattled your cage? Go back to bed

My first post and I too have been rejected by Vanquis. Finances were a mess a few years ago and I did take the bull by the horns and paid the lot off. 20k of debt, worked like a demon and lived on baked beans to do it but felt enormous satisfaction to have got myself out of the mess I'd been so stupid to get into in the first place.
(Would like to acknowledge here that not everyone who has problems has them as a result of stupidity. I did though)
Having had years of being sensible, no credit, all bills paid by direct debit and living within my means I still can't get a Vanquis card!!!
I've checked my equifax and experian accounts and I think I now have two problems. First is the no credit thing. I have no credit agreements so I cannot prove by their criteria I can pay. Second is that I have a default from January 2005. I have a satisfied on the same account from February 2005 so I guess I can wait another 10 months till it gets knocked off my record. It has been YEARS to get here so 10 months won't hurt.
Also got turned down for Capital One so I'm not applying for anything else for a while.
Have a credit score with Experian of 725 which is fine but my Equifax is 168 which is appalling (that's the one that has the default showing). I've gone for the credit builder option with the Cashplus card so I hope that will start to heal things.0 -
I have had a vanquis card for 2 years now after going BR in 2007 with a £1500 limit but can't get any other card-have tried Cap One and Sygma silver recently and been declined for both.Littlewoods also closed my catalogue account, although Simply Be are happy to keep me on and have given me a £1000 limit. It's weird how they accept/decline you.Debts Jan 2014 £20,108.34
