So I might be best putting the free £10 credit on today as it expires midnight tonight and keep hold of this leaflet and receipt to query the points if they are not automatically added.
Yup, thats what I'll do. cheers :D

They have the leaflets in store and they are advertising the deal, there is no mention in the terms and conditions on the leaflet that offers can't be combined. So I may have to dispute it but otherwise I will be fine ;)
I won't let my holiday fund be depleted by red tape :rotfl: and poor offer implementation

I remeber the last instore points offer i participated in it was for the champagne where you got 900 points per bottle.

My points never showed on my receipt and when i contacted CC they said they would be added manually when the next statement was due.

So if you are going for this offer and it doesnt show on your receipt make sure you keep your receipt and a copy of the leaflet should you need to hassle CC to get your points.

I have learnt that tesco can be a bit underhand with these points offers.

I really need a bit of clarification here.

We have a clubcard each but they are merged on the same account, can we buy 2 phones each and get 4000 points or is it a max of 2 per account.

Could i get a temporary card in say my sons name and buy a phone then register the card. Will i still get all the bonus points?

  • I'd have thought stick to 2 per household, unless there is confirmation from a few different people from tesco. Also worth making sure you can buy these and the ones online aswell.

You seem to have missed the fact that Tesco are a business. Do you really expect them to give you a £10 credit and 1000 points?
    Gone ... or have I?

I haven t missed the point at all. Im just mentioning the fact that people wont get both. If it was bought today you get the free £10 credit with the fone Tomorrow you get the 1000 points. I know what i d rather do. You, i and everyone else knows the profits Tesco amass every year and they often have these extra club card points offers to encourage people to buy the goods. It must be worth their while doing these offers or they wouldn t bother doing them.

Erm yes, if they are advertising that I will get 1000 points with any phone even if it comes with £10 credit. I picked a leaflet up instore which just had a finish date, there was no to and from date. If Tesco did not want to combine this offer then they should not put leaflets out until the offer actually starts and if they do put leaflets out and not honour the offer thn surely thats false advertising

Unfortunately false advertising isn't illegal and if you notice the problems the people who had actually paid for the dsi from argos at the incorect price had not sure you got a leg to stand on.

Did the leaflet say you will get 10 free credit and 1000 points ?
