The 1208 is the first phone on the leaflet.

The offer seems to be starting on Monday. Instore.
  • you can get 200 more clubcard points by recycling the nokia with tesco

tescomobile.gif Airtime Rewards steps.jpgprogress_b3.jpg You selected: Nokia 1208 worth £2.00 in Tesco Mobile airtime.

Now please select to add either 200 Clubcard points or donate £2 to charity.

So for £15, you get the phone with £10 credit and 1000 clubcard points, then recycle and get another 200 points. cheap way to get 1200 points?????

The poinmts will not show on anyones receipt. They will be added manually by Tesco on the next statement in february. Absolutely no point in going back into the store as they will not add them there. Just keep a copy of the leaflet and double check when your statement comes in.
I am expecting an extra 3500 points on mine from 3 pre-order Cd's and 2 mobiles, time will tell, I do half expect to be challenging Tesco in feb.

That is not true. For anything purchased instore the points should show on the receipt. If they don't, you wont get them.

Having one of the leaflets right infront of me and I quote: -
"One phone per transaction, maximum two phones per customer. Selected UK and IOM stores stocking Tesco Mobile phones. Subject to availability whilst stocks last. The customer will automatically get 1,000 Clubcard points added to their next Clubcard statement. Excludes clearance lines. Offer ends 24th January 2010."
That is from an instore leaflet. It will be to discourage people going from store to store buying the phones up and then abusing the system. With those conditions they will add them on as a maximum of 2,000 points regardless of how many stores you visit to buy phones.
And yes the Nokia 1208 is included on the leaflet(no. TM61/37)
