Yes, I posted on Friday about that free credit and posted the leaflet.
Its £10 for phone under £50 and £20 for phones over £50, so a great deal

I bought one, and thought that the free credit had expired, being a time sensitive thing. I was going to ebay it boxed & sealed- do we think it's worth risking the seal then to see if I can put £10 worth of free credit on it? What's the consensus?

Only thing is that the credit only last a month so if you do not sell for a week that week is lost. I sold mine on ebay and advertised it with £10 credit which would be applied within 48 hours of activation. Sold for £14.00.

Thats not correct, the free credit does not expire after any time, is only the 3 * tariff free credit that runs out. (but this isnt the 3 * tariff)
This offer on the 283 number sayes it does not have an time limit for use.
Always on the hunt for a bargain

So all these phones also come with £10 credit? I bought two 1208s Saturday not knowing that, so nice selling point for ebay if definitely true.
I bought with the intention of swapping points for (doubled up) airmiles, but noticed this on the airmiles website:
Offer valid for standard Clubcard points only, and does not apply to Clubcard points awarded through promotions, coupons, vouchers, Tesco Personal Finance products, E-ON or Clubcard Plus. Excludes Tesco Mobile airtime, mobile phone contracts, Tesco Broadband, Tesco Homephone, Tesco Internet Phone airtime, Talk Wi-fi airtime, Green points, Tesco Calais, fuel and petrol filling station purchases.
Does this mean I won't be able to swap my 2000 points for double airmiles? Will they notice if I try? If anyone has swapped promo points for double airmiles before, or tried and failed, I'd like to hear...

You had me worried there but it seems you have quoted out of context. The page on airmiles is talking about the double clubcard points (ie 2 for £1) which started recently. It's just saying only standard points are doubled - not any extra. ie the phones earned 1,000 - not 2,000. (and 28 not 14 for the spend - assuming £14.97)
For each £1 you spend on products at Tesco that qualify for Clubcard points either in-store or online, you will receive a second Clubcard point which will show as a ‘new extra point’ on your Tesco receipt (except Tesco online purchase receipts). Offer valid for standard Clubcard points only, and does not apply to Clubcard points awarded through promotions, coupons, vouchers, Tesco Personal Finance products, E-ON or Clubcard Plus. Excludes Tesco Mobile airtime, mobile phone contracts, Tesco Broadband, Tesco Homephone, Tesco Internet Phone airtime, Talk Wi-fi airtime, Green points, Tesco Calais, fuel and petrol filling station purchases. Offer may be withdrawn at any time. Standard Clubcard terms and conditions apply, minimum spend to qualify for Clubcard points is £1. For full terms and conditions see www.tesco.com/clubcard.

So you have to activate 25th January 2010 to 28th February 2010, Free credit can be used for calls/texts to UK mobiles, 01, 02 and 03 numbers only, picture messaging and mobile internet browsing, while in the UK. Credit can't be transferred.

Doesn't look like there is a time limit on credit

I bought in 2 separate transactions 2x1208 Nokia phone.
It showed 1000clubcard points in each of the receipts.
Now I have 2000 points to convert in miles.
In Tesco website says £2.50 in Clubcard vouchers = 60 miles.
    Is 250 points = £2.50 Clubcard vouchers ?
How many Airmiles could I have with this 2000 points ?
    Thank you.

2000 points, or £20, would at the moment with airmiles' double up offer, give you one return flight to zone 1, or 960 miles. it is 750 miles for a zone one trip. so convert 750 miles, with £16.25 of vouchers, and leave yourself just under £4 in vouchers - £16 in deals :T
Everyone who thanks me when ive helped will get a 5% share when I win this weeks Euromillions......:p
