Loan PPI Refund

OK, I finally go the cheques through this morning, two for the two other loans I took out with B******s and the main one. The problem is my calculations show I should have received 1,907.50, but they have only sent 1,025.19. I know they are bad at maths but this is ridiculous. I will be contacting them again, giving fourteen days notice to pay the rest or I will take it to the FOS. I have full working as to how I get to my figures, I have done degree level maths and amd very confident in my figures. It is not the first time they have claimed I owe them thousands more than what I do and each and every single time I have manage to prove them wrong.
I will contact the FOS Monday to see if I can cash this cheque, I will then pursue the rest after that.0 -

Hello there
Well done on receiving "part" of your refund......, but how naughty of them to short-change you........, I agree, put them straight and tell them you have already calculated what you should be receiving and its way out, if they do not refund what is "rightfully" owed to you then its off to the FOS, where you will also request compensation for distress as well.
Good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
The cheque they have sent me, it looks like they have set the remainder off some money they claimed I owed, which the FOS has ruled in my favour to say that I don't owe that money and that should have been "written off". I have contacted the adjudicator at the FOS as it is clear that they have not done what was agreed AGAIN will wait to hear back from him next week.
I will call the adjudicator on Monday to ensure that this will be investigated.
How can one bank be so incompetent?

OMG.......... honestly what are they playing at??
Have you the details of the Chief Executive officer (CEO) for this bank? The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
I have, I have a phone number for someone in his office as well. I have referred it back to the adjudicator at the FOS explaining what they have done and not carried out what was agreed. I will be calling him on Monday. When I spoke to the person within B******s on Tuesday he said the person dealing with the complaint was a contractor, but that doesn't warrant his incompetance.0

Ok, after a few months I got the rest back, they have refunded nearly 600 more than what they should, have, I have put it into an account that I don't use, for the simple fact I can't as it is in a account that needs a book. will be sending yet another letter tomorrow seeing if they want it back.0

Wow, well done! :beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
sent the letter today asking for a break down of the calculations as I do not believe they owed me as much as what they have refunded, I don't want anyone knocking on the door asking for it back. I have put the money into an account I can't use for now, if they want it back it is a real pain to get to the money, but can be done!
I just can't replicate there figures, I couldn't get my head round how the FOS do there calculations as they haven't published a formula to show me where the figures go to.
Anyway hopefully it will be resolved soon so I can settle my debts and buy a car!!!0
