Orange - Cannot access Orange World
My partner & I are both on Orange PAYG. (Nokia 7250i & Motorola V220).
By phoning customer services we both have free O to O calls between 7pm and midnight plus free texts (can't remember how many) provided we top up by £10 in any one month.
However, neither of us can access Orange World. Is this the same as GPRS?
I tried contacting customer services but one person said it was because our sim cards were too old (5+years) so I ordered a new sim for £1 being assured that I could transfer my old mobile number to the new sim. When I rang customer services to activate it I was told I could NOT keep my old number.
We would like to download new ringtones and wallpapers (preferably free and without having spam calls).
Is this possible with our current sims or do we have to change our numbers.
Orange are still offering sims for £1 with free P&P but if we have to change our numbers we won't bother.
