    What's this...the war on paragraphs?

You should read it, its a good laugh.

Jazmine, you rang the company a total of 163 times on a weekend (companies do close on a weekend) and emailed 45 times in one day (works out about once every 20 mins of awake time) and you wonder why they thought something was suspicious.

This has to be a wind up really, if not, the part about passing the details to your colleague (who sounds a bit strange for emailing a company about you without letting you know even though you work in seperate departments) is a breach of many acts.

It seems you have already followed the correct action, so leave it to TS and the banks.

I placed 67 calls in total and not once was the phone answered, nor any of the messages I left on Saturday answered. I started to get worried as this didn’t seem right. I called all of Sunday a total of 96 calls and still no luck. So I emailed them, a total of 45 emails and 96 phones calls on Sunday.

Thank god you only posted one thread on here!

Hi John, sorry i wasnt around to answer your original post.

I get the impression that Airetech IT is a company ran by one person from his home trying to act like a larger company with a 'legal team' and 'website team' being all the same one person. I may be wrong of course but the whole thing keeps screaming 'STAY AWAY' to me. i still recieve their email offers on a weekly basis and the emails are very informal, often with spelling mistakes which only confirms my suspicion.

Perhaps trading standards are worth a call.

I'm glad im not the only one in anycase. Im also glad you chose to google the company before dealing with them, im glad my post helped you to avoid a painful process!

I get this inpression too, and I'm not going to use this conpany in the future due to the following problem.

I ordered a graphic card from AireTechIt "Gainward NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 (Golden sample Like Hell (GSH) 1GB PCI-E 2HDMI-1VGA" on the 5th feb 2011, I received delivery on the 14/02/11, upon opening the box , I discovered that it was not what I ordered. the card received was a Gainward card but it was not the GSH as I specified in my order and this one had only 1 HDMI and 1 VGA connectors, but the invoice enclosed with the card specified the card ordered and not the card received.
So this was early monday morning and I immediately sent an email to AireTechIt, 1PM and no reply received, so I decide to call them, and was David catherall who answered the phone, I explained the problem and after few minutes he told me that the one I received was the correct one despite the item not matching the descriptions on the web site and invoice received.

Anyway after a wile he proposed either to return the card for a full refund or pay around £6 extra to get the card I really wanted in the first place and he agreed to refund the postage to return the card to him, this was done that same day monday after noon (first class next day delivery), he told me that he would sent the right card as soon he received the one i returned.

The card got to AireTechIt next day around 2PM,by Thursday I emailed David Cotherall that I needed the replacement graphic card by next day the latest and if he new that it was not going to happen , cancel the oder and will get the card from alternative supply.

Since then I have not heard from them (Him), up till yesterday no refund into my account.

I send and email to David Cotherall and He did not read the email, I send the same email to AireTechIt, they read the email but no reply, in my email i told them that I did expect to get also the £6.70 to return the wrong card as agreed with David.

I send AireTechIt and other today and I got receipt that they deleted my email, I checked my account and they did refund only the original payment but not the extra £6.70 to return the goods.

I will nether use AireTechIt and will not recommend to any one.

Seems I'm the latest person to be ripped off by AireTechIt. I only wish I'd seen this thread before I ordered a hard drive from them. It was listed as in stock and they took payment immediately. Only to email and tell me the item wasn't actually in stock. They then claimed they'd refunded me on the 20th of June, saying it would take up to 10 working days for the refund to come through. Three weeks later and not only do I not have a refund but AireTechIt have now stopped replying to my emails..

I get the impression that while AireTechIt probably do sell real products they also like to intersperse that with pretending to sell items they don't have any intention of sending. Hoping that the customer will give up after a while so they can keep their ill gotten gains. Not going to happen in this case though.

So if the rest of this thread wasn't enough to keep people away from this "company", let this be a warning to you, do not deal with AireTechIt.
