    thanks for the advice t4i - but, i was trying to do that last night but when hubby caught me he asked what i was doing - i explained to him and he said NOT ON MY BLOOMING TV YOU ARENT lol - its cos hes got a big dear tv - he doesnt want me messing with it as he thinks i will break it................thanks anyways hun

    Have you spoken to the retentions department? In my experience there's no way the retentions department would let you go without putting up more of a fight (read: Discounts) for a customer that spends as much as you do.

    Ring them up, and ask to be put through to the disconnections team (forget what they call them from one day to the next). Explain you problems to them calmly and that you are thinking of leaving because of the problems you've had. They will have a log of all of your calls and faults and should be able to offer you more than £50.... Also, if you decide to stay, make sure that someone comes out and fixes the problem. It's worthwhile doing what T4i says as you can mention this to the engineer when he shows up. If it's an intermittent fault it may not happen when he is there, so the more information that you can give him the better.
