I agree, I think it could afford to be a little bit "taller". And maybe a little more of a gap on the bottom of all the tabs- at the moment the "p" in Transport and the "y" in Family are touching the bottom of the tab and it looks a little cramped.
Could you tell me what browser and what operating system you are using? we've tried to get it working in every browser but there are always a few that slip through the net!

I prefer the old pic of you, but really like the new lay out and the the tabs0

Well I'm clearly in the minority because I feel it's more cluttered. The old coloured tabs are much easier to see than the same colour grey tabs with coloured writing imo.
The old green is a calmer shade than the new one.
There's no spacing at the top and it looks too squashed.
Sorry, the new one just looks like the busy front page of a kid's comic to me.
The only improvement imo is the fact the tabs highlight when you hover.Herman - MP for all!0 -
- the navigation tabs now seem to blend in more with the rest of the page - there isnt so much of a demarkation (if thats the word) - makes it a bit tricky at first glance to see they are navigation tabs.
- sorry the photo does look like a line up. I prefer your whats it all about photo on the right hand side
- i can see 2 search tools - perhaps thats because this is a test page? prefer the one at the top right hand corner.
- i find the 2 boxes both showing opportunities to sign up for the newsletter on the home page a bit cluttery and duplicating. Why not just have the one on the right hand side?
Nice to see things being freshened up. Keep up the good work. :ADeclutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

It doesn't on mine, I'm using Chrome.
Agree that a graduated colour would be better on the masthead.:dance:Mash p'tater, mash p'tater:dance:0 -

My feeling too.
It looks a bit 'cheap' - rather than moneysaving:cool:.0 -

Not for me. As said, maybe your browser?

Much calmer. Still don't like the apostrophe, even though I'm fairly fanatical about them being in the right place..................
....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)
