Scrap value of car?

    Thank you for all the comments. The car is still allowed on the road until midnight on monday so will be driving it to the scrap yard. I think the £50 is fair as well!

    The car has corroded really badly underneath and the suspension is shot. It is going to cost around £700 to get to MOT standard which is more than I am prepared to pay on a car which only cost us £1000 three years ago.

    The wishbones have been replaced in previous MOT's!

    I wish we could do the scrappage scheme with it but I cannot being myself to pay the amounts wanted for a new ford focus. Will get a second hand one.
