Anyones worcester bosch boiler frozen up

Woke up this morning to no heating and have tried all the trouble shooter tips etc only to find the little wiggly pipe outside has frozen up.
You know the one that comes out and goes back in to the house again.
Hubby been outside with a hairdryer on a low setting and defrosted it,now waiting for our son to come and sort the air pressure out(he is a plumber but not done his gas yet).
I didn't want to call anyone out if it was something simple but my sons friend has just qualified as a gas safe plumber so had a quick look and said this is whats wrong.
Thought someone might find this useful.
