Is there a way to subscribe to certain forums, so when I click 'New Posts', it will only show me new posts from the forums I am interested in?
I am a member of a few other forums which have this feature, and it is a very useful way of keeping an eye on the forum without having to wade through stuff you're not interested in.

Yes. At the top of each 'board', there is a 'Forum Tools' button. If you click on the arrow there, you can 'Subscribe to this forum'.
Now click on 'User CP' from the bar just above this, and hey presto!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

If you mean by clicking this, then no. There isn't currently a way to do that by subscribing to particular boards.
But there is a way to do it by making a customised bookmark in your browser.
A bit technical, but it does work.A bit of a DIY approach, but it works. Just add the forum ID for the board in question to the New Posts link.
To do it, copy the link to the browser's address bar.
That is: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew
Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping & Fantastic Freebies is board number 5. You can see that in the link to it.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=5
so it's forum ID (number) is 5.
Add it to the first link like:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew&f=5
You can then save that link as a bookmark/favourite in your browser to use again.
The above will search all the sub-boards of the forum specified, but if you want to search a series of individual separate boards, you add their numbers using the slightly different syntax below.
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?do=getnew&include=76,50,12
That would show you "New Posts" in 76 (Debt Free Wanabee), 50 (Site Feedback) and 12 (Loans).Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
