Hi, can i just ask, is this for all books? i;ve seen a cook book with a starting price of 50p but the seller is asking for £19.50 postage. someone has asked if this is a mistake and theire reply was:
A: Hi The book was an unwanted Christmas present and the flyleaf shows a value of £30. However I did not wish to pay for re-listing if the item does not sell. Thank you for your interest.
is this allowed with the new rules? i'd happily pay more for the book than 50p, but refuse to pay that much postage!
    thanks

If she has listed it under books and it shows 'free' postag ethen she cant charge even if she has written a charge into her aucitons. If it is in books but shows freight then yes she can charge but she must use a courier, she can't pretend to use a courier and then use RM , or technically yes she can but she would then get a neg almost certainly from any buyer. If it is in a different section then yes she can charge postage, but is actually unlikely to sell.

    I would report it!!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
