O2 Blackberry with Hotmail email account

O2 Blackberry Curve 8250 using a simplicity online 20 sim with unlimited blackberry bolt on.
2 issues with my hotmail emails:
delay in recieving emails [from 3 mins to 30 mins]
Read emails on blackberry decieve remain unread [and unchanged] when accessin emails on a pc online. I thought the two were meant to be "in sync"
Please Help

It depends on how you are accessing the emails and the settings at hotmail. If using POP3 the emails are just copied cover. I believe you need to use IMAP protocol to access the emails and sync changes, thou not entirely sure as i dont use a BB myself.Although no trees were harmed during the creation of this post, a large number of electrons were greatly inconvenienced.
