Everyone says i'm lucky but that's cos i've had a few wins and they haven't had any but then they don't enter comps. Last xmas on the local radio i won £250 argos vouchers, and was only saying in November i could do with another win like that then won £400 to spend at Dobbies Garden World on the radio - then before xmas won on the Gone In 60 Minutes competition. I'm having a real go at the comps this year tho and would love a cash win or a holiday.

I really believe the key is entering as many as possible, law of averages something has to give, people say to me your really jammy but I say to them yes some of it is luck but I put the hours in too, do they enter comps, no they dont so how can they win? step up your entries and see what happens - good luck:D
Thank you for this site Martin

    Good luck for the future
  • i enter lots of comps from here and have been for a while now and only had 2 very small wins.i can't see how an email address should make any difference
  • Chin up Stacey, my friend is a BIG winner on MSE and seems to win something every other day whereas I have had a few small wins and used to get very disheartened. However she is a dedicated comper and does about 300 a day like others have mentioned. You can find the new comps posted in the main Competitions Time forum but there are also the regular comps which are also divided into daily weekly and monthly. There are literally hundreds or thousands of comps posted on here and you just have to put the hours in.(I'm now doing about 4 hours of coming a night coz I really want an Xbox!lol)Martin has a guide to comping and moneysavng which very useful and can be found here :

Hope that is of some use to you hun.Good luck and keep at it and hopefully you'll be posting a big win on the I Won!! forum soon :) x

I keep a track of the numbers of competitions I enter in a spreadsheet just so I can try and reach my personal target each month. Last year I did nearly 14000 competitions and only won a few things like a dvd, cinema tickets, bodyshop set. I loved winning those things and really appreciated them but I'm really hoping for a much better year in 2010!

i can't say i haven't had any luck this year, the few small wins and the long weekend break to rotterdam (holland) worth £700, which i just came back from on monday evening.

i think it's all down to the way you think, if you think positive, hopefully something nice will turn up.

remember the wins you receive are all free, so it's only a bit of effort your giving.

here's wishing you and all others who are losing hope (inc me on the drench) a wonderful wonderful rest of 2010.

I have autofill on mine but it doesn't always work.

I have noticed that some comps which I've done via email have been deleted without been read as I get a reply back telling me and to be honest this is annoying and I will be sending an email to ipc caravan mag as surely what is the point of me entering if they don't even read them.

Fingers crossed in next month some of us with few wins will start winning.

On some forms Roboform works better, on others autofill does, but there are still some neither works on.

They only need to read the e-mail if you are drawn as a winner, doesn't mean you were not in the draw because it was not read (hopefully).

Good luck to all however you enter.
