I've just contacted Lush & they've confirmed it doesn't start instore till MONDAY 18TH JANUARY - so please don't head down there this weekend in the hope you can combine both offers without contacting the specific store first!!
I hold out hope that some stores will honour the start date (just like Boots had some stores honour the 75% sale) but unless you are going anyway, please don't make a special trip, you will probably be disappointed.
I will amend my original post!
S xxEverything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -
I was in Lush in Manchester Arndale yesterday and they said new offers start Monday 18th when this one ended and the dates in the Lush Times were a misprint. (Btw, I got LOADS in my grab bag (11 items including my fave face mask) and there were quite a few left)
HTH
Knew it was to good to be true! -Still, can see why, Lush must spend/lose a fortune on the grab-bags even if they do gain more customers, they are losing up to 50% off the product prices as a result.
Thanks to all those that have posted on this- I was going to try get to a store early tomorrow to try get the skin set and grab bag, now I know the offers not on I can have a lie in and try to get rid of my horrible cold!0 -

Thanks for letting us know, I was thinking of popping down tomorrow so you've saved me a trip. BTW do they have any of the new valentine stuff yet?0 -

In Buchanan St they seem to offer the grab bags downstairs but the gift boxes upstairs. I'm sure if you say you'd rather have a grab bag they'll go and get you one if you buy stuff from upstairs. I preferred to take a gift box as they had the Xmas tin box full of bath ballistics, the grab bag they showed me downstairs didn't look that amazing. Ask to see what the contents look like first, just to get an idea if its what you'd like. I was in the Buchanan St one well over a week ago.0 -

I was there on tue, and got a grab bag upstairs. With 2 christmas gifts and a 4 loose items in it, very happy with everything0 -
Here's the link to the internet page showing the offer in detail!
I'm still a bit confused - in the picture, the product has a sticker on which states "9 products + 1 free" but the page only lists the 7 individual items plus the options for choosing one each of 10 face masks & 4 moisturisers, which still only totals 9 items!
The pic has all 9 items & the only extra thing looks to be a "paper moustache"???? Or am I just missing something??
Also, there is nothing that gives the start date, either!

ETA: Also, it states this product is not suitable to be posted on 2-3 day delivery, as it contains a Fresh Face Mask which needs to be kept refrigerated - just for anyone thinking about ordering online. It is available to order online though & it still allows you to choose the standard delivery, but I don't know whether they would post it out!!Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:0 -
Can I ask, as a "Lush Virgin", is this a good offer? And is it better to buy it online or instore?

I think it is a good offer especially if your new to Lush products as it has a bit of everything in it for you to try. I have been buying from Lush for a while now but have only ever brought their Bubble Bars (i soooo recommend these for a heavenly bath they are my fave) and Bath melts and Massage bars so cant wait to get this offer to try out some new products! The face masks sound lush! :rotfl:Member of Thrifty Gifty ~ Making money for Christmas 2010:£2 Savers club member no 40 ~ £54Amazon Vouchers BingoPort ~ £10Dooyoo Challenge Jan ~ £24.07 / £20.00 Yippee over target :j0 -

Its a good buy, in order to try things to see if you like them. In one of the first posts, I've done a breakdown of the costs, you get about £15-worth for £12.50, but its the opportunity to try new things which is good. The little pots of face cream look tiny, but a little goes a long way & will probably last you a fortnight, the full-size face masks last for 4-5 weeks, using them on a weekly basis (also check the use-by date) I wanted to try the Big shampoo, but its over £9 a pot, I wouldn't buy that until I knew it worked with my hair, so getting this set will let me try it without having to spend all that money on something I might only use once!
I've just amended my post above, as I read online they aren't sending these out on a standard delivery, due to the offer including the fresh Face Mask (these need to be kept in the fridge, due to their natural ingredients). Its not clear if they will send them out if you pay for Next Day delivery.
You would probably be best buying instore, anyway, as the SA's are very nice & will help you choose the best option for your skin type. You might be lucky & get them to give you other free samples, too, if you let them know its new to you. Some people report getting regular freebies (though I must pick the wrong SA's, as I drop hints & never get anything free!)
HTH!
