    Oh yeah! Duuuuuh, my maths is rubbish! But in my defence, I was trying to get it posted quickly!

    Infact, Vanishing Cream is £15.25 for 50g, so a 10g sample would be £3.05!!! That makes it even more worthwhile!! I'll amend my post above!

    Thanks Theduchesshavoc!!

    S xx

    Haha, no worries. I had Vanishing cream with the Freshers pack. It was ACE! Not worth an extra fiver over Imperialis though. Imperialis is lovely. Just lovely. Lovely lovely lovely.

    Yes, Getcarter, Lush used to be Cosmetics to Go. I know because mum used to buy my Happy Hippy shower gel when I was a kid, and remembering that product when I saw it again got me hooked on Lush products. I wish they still did Ice Blue shampoo though, I only ever had a little bottle of that, and it was so nice. Lemony Flutter is also so good I want to eat it. But I don't have time to do my hands and nails all the time so the last pot ended up going to waste in the end, even though I used it every now and then on my feet, which was AMAZING. :p

    Ah yes that's right, it was them, silly me! I'm pretty sure Lush used to sell something very similar though, but that's probably my head telling me lies since I quite clearly remember it as being called Ice Blue! Don't buy from Body Shop anymore as tI'm under the impression that hey're now owned by a conglomerate that tests on animals, so no good to me, but thanks anyway! :T

    Lush still do Ice Blue as part of their retro range:

    Not cheap, but if you spend over £30 online you get a box of free stuff (see the Lush sale thread).

    I also stopped using the Body Shop after it was taken over by L'Oreal, who not only test on animals but have also had their knuckles rapped for racial discrimination and making false claims about products in advertising.

    Is the shampoo really that good? Heard a few people talk about it now?

    i use big shampoo and i really like it. i've been trying it out for about two weeks now and everytime i use it, my hair feels squeaky clean. i use it with american cream conditioner and it's fab, my hair's always so soft and shiny. i've even asked for samples to convert my friends!
    Comping since August 2022

    American cream is pants! It smells lovely but does sod all to condition my hair. I'm trying veganese at the moment as I want a squeezy bottle condition but the other choice smelt vile.

    This ... Is not good... I didn't want to know that ...
    WHAAAAAAAAAhahahaaaaaaaa.... Now I want it!!!!!
    TWELVE QUID?????? :eek::eek::eek::eek:

    That had better be bottle big enough to wash a mammoths backside!

    So now I'mm confused, how can both the Body Shop and Lush sell the same product? Surely that's a breach of copyright?

  • Mark Constanine (the founder of ctg and lush ) used to make formulas for THe Body Shop (he also invented the Peppermint Foot Lotion )when The Body Shop first started or not long after , Ice Blue Shampoo was one of them. My knowledge is a bit hazy regarding the seling of rights and buying them back agin but there's no breach there .
