They are ok in sealed plastic bags and tubs but if you leave in the paper bags they come in the paper absorbs the oils and they go funny. They can lose their colour, smell and get softer depending upon the actual product as I have learnt to my cost in the past.
I buy them fresh for presents now but will stock pile a few for my own use if there is a grab bag on or I have a voucher to use. If no offers, I just get enough for a couple of months so that they stay nice.0 -

Thanks for that! Mine are in a cardboard box and I have sooooo much stuff (even without yesterdays £55 [plus £20 extra] order) I need to store it properly while I work through my stash. Does it need to be an airtight plastic box or just a sealed one?0 -

Should be fine as long as sealed. I think the paper bags/boxes draw the oils which makes them go funny but i've left some in the plastic bags from online orders and they have been fine.0 -

Ah right, I know what you mean. One of my free bath balls and a jungle conditioner I got before christmas have gone like that in paper bags, but thinking about it I think the conditioner was a sample anyway so if it's not as effective I won't mind.
Most of my items are wrapped in the lush paper that's a bit like grease proof paper, or they came unwrapped in the grab bag so I put them in cling film.0 -
I just store everything in my sock/bra/night ware draws! I figure the are going to lose their scent a little anyway before I get to use them and why not have that filter onto my clothes instead of just into the air.
I actually read an article in a newspaper suppliement last night with an interview from the head of Lush, he actually says that the soaps for example lose one third of themselves within a few weeks or something (and that this is why the Lush stores smell so strongly) and he calls it the "Angels share" which I thought was quite sweet.0 -
Has anyone tried ordering the free gift? When I went online to check what I had ordered I clicked on the £20 free gift and it let me add it to basket and go right through to the payment page just charging postage, I didn't actually enter my card details though so it might not work but might be worth a try if you can't afford to spend a lot of money.0

No, and it won't ever change from pending on the site either.
My order from Saturday night is supposed to be despatched today (emailed and asked).0 -
Thanks Lusive, it actually arrived about half an hour ago. I am sitting with Sacred Truth all over my face
Hope yours comes today then too.

Wow that's quick. On one hand I'm hoping mine comes tomorrow (ordered sunday) but on the other hand I won't be in so if it needs a signature i'll have to arrange to collect it from the post office. Not usually a problem but I'm not looking forward to carrying £70 worth of Lush products 1/4 of a mile up hill to my house.0
