Cancelling vodafone insurance?
I have just gone from PAYG to contract. When I was sorting out the contract, the subject of insurance was mentioned. I got told that my first month is free and after that it would cost me £6.99/month.
I had a chat to my dad about this, who said he can put me on his insurance for £5/month.
I want to cancel my insurance. How much notice do I need to give? Does it need to be done in writing? What does my dad need to do to add me to his? He has my IMEI (?) number - does he need anything else?

I have the same issue, largely. Took out a contract. The man did his most to convince me the insurance would cancel automatically after the free month, but obviously his assurance in this meant nothing at all. Any advice would help me too.0

Hi,
Ashley_ I am sorry to hear that your insurance was not removed after the first month as you were advised. I will happily look into both of your accounts and remove the insurance for you. However as I will need to access your accounts to do this, so could you please contact our team on the link below -

Thanks for that, however I went back in store to enquire before reading your post. Think it should be sorted now, the guy asked me for some details and told me its now cancelled.0
