What child needs £220 worth of playmobil?
    Hardly the point.
Most of us on this site don't really 'need' the majority of the bargains posted.
Poor show Boots. They are normally very efficient.

It seems the big stores dont really care much about their customers! this has happened with Next, deb, M&S they really need to sort it out!!!

I do hope you managed to get them from somewhere else I am happy to look around for you if you put the codes on :)

The OP can spend her money however she likes why come on here and make the nasty comments and there is no need to justify what you spend your money on!

Do you know, when I joined this site many years ago, it was a very friendly site, nowdays it seems to be full of sarcastic comments just like yours.

youre right- I have reprted this persons sarcasm laden comments to the board - why do we have to put up with these non entities spewing their bile when we just would like a question answered with out it ??!

suggest that more people report to the MSE abuse line
As Martin says - please be nice - there is no such thing as a stupid question ! ;)
  • Maybe try complaining a bit further, you may get some vouchers and/or boots points for your trouble. Sounds like they sold out quickly and are covering their bums by coming up with twaddle excuses for not honouring online orders. If your last order turned up fine, there's no reason why this one shouldn't have.

Blimey, I was always told, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all? QUOTE]

This was my dad's catchphrase when we were kids and he was dead right.

People say incredibly rude things on these boards as its anonymous, and then make out that its ok because of some idea of freedom of speech - well its just bad manners. It spoils MSE for the rest of us

what's it got to do with you how much someone spends on their childs presents!!! How rude, probably just jealous that you can't afford to spend that money on your own children. Anyway if you look at Playmobil you don't get much for your money.

If you have no helpful comments don't bother commenting.

I was sterilised years ago. I'm far too clever to fall into that trap!

    a. You need help, you'd be better off seeking that help rather than making senseless comments on this friendly helpful forum.

    b. OP-take no notice of the few, random, only in cyberspace, tiny minded, non entities who do not recognise that the spirit and aim of this forum is to assist others.

Good luck with the birthday, hope you find an alternate source for the presents.
