which card is best?

i am looking to pay off my catalogue bills with a 0% credit card, can anyone recommend one to do this with? Would i just needone with 0% on purchases?
Many thanks for any advice one can give!

  • Can you pay all of your catalogue bills using a credit card? If so, you're best looking for a long 0% on purchases introductory rate. Bear in mind that these rates rocket up once the introductory period has ended, so you need to make sure you're paying enough off the balance each month to get your balance to zero by the end of the 0% period.

I would think you'd need a balance transfer one to be honest. I assume you'll be transferring the balances of your store cards to it?

I don't think a catalogue account is the same as a store card (sorry if I'm stating the obvious but it appears there is some confusion).

Store cards are often offered by high st stores and you use the card to pay.

A catalogue account is often used with postal on on-line catalogues where clothing is delivered and purchases are added to an account.

I don't honestly know whether it requires a BT or a purchase or whether indeed they even accept CC payments.

Grattan accept credit cards for payment by phone...or at least they did when I worked there.
