I have just fitted a volted room thermostat to my combi boiler. See my problem is is that the boilers thermostat cuts the heating off when the return flow gets to a certain temperature. This has been stopping our house heating up as everytime the system gets hot it cuts off. I have jsut fitted a room thermostat to stop this but instead the boiler still cuts out when the return flow gets hot. Is there a jumper or was of combating this
Thanks
Thanks

Do you have TRVs on the radiators? Are some of your radiators turned off?
What do you have the room thermostat set to? What temp settings is your boiler set to?
You say the boiler is cutting off when the flow temp gets to a certain temp, is this how its supposed to run?If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -

By boiler cutting off, do you mean the flame is going out, or the pump in the boiler is switching off as well as the flame? Please describe it in a bit more detail.
All the room stat does is switch the boiler off if the room gets up to temp, as well as all the other ways of turing it off as before. It won't over-ride any existing control.0 -
All this sounds like the boiler sat is set to low.0
