Mobile for Internet???
Can anyone recomment a reasonably priced mobile phone to surf the internet on? I have unlimited internet usage on my phone from Orange but my basic Nokia isn't the best for surfing
Unfortunately I am unable to get a new phone with Orange or via another company
Thanks in advance

T-Mobile Pulse?
Obviously have to get it unlocked, but it's an android phone with a touch screen, where going for silly cheap (£90), but back up to about £140 now I think.0 -
Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. One alternative is to use bluetooth (assuming the Nokia has this) to link to a device with a better user interface (for example a laptop, netbook or PDA).
Another alternative is to try the Opera mobile browser which may improve your surfing experience.
You will spend a lot of money for a phone with a good browsing experience.0 -

Hello
I do have bluetooth on my phone and I have a laptop, how do I link these so that I can browse the internet on my laptop, assuming this is what you mean? Sorry for being lame, non to wise on the techy front!Work hard play hard......0 -
Does your laptop have Bluetooth ? If it does there will be clues somewhere with the little bluetooth symbol (as seen on your phone).
If not then buy a Bluetooth "dongle". Personally I have the Belkin one from Amazon - "Belkin Mini Bluetooth Adapter * Class 2; 10M" I've tried others and this one comes with a better disk of software and is worth the money in my view.
Install it (remember the run the disk before plugging it in bit).
Once you have bluetooth installed and the phone and computer "paired" (the Belkin instructions will help you with this) then I recommend the Nokia PC Suite as the way of making the phone work as a modem on a PC.
There are other ways (possibly better) but the Nokia PC Suite is much more likely to work without a struggle.
Also, if you have a lead to plug your phone into the PC you can often use the phone as a modem with that. It's not as elegant as Bluetooth but once again worth a try. Once again, use Nokia PC Suite to make it all work.0 -

They are very good and very cheap, you can buy ones from the UK if you need it quickly.0
