Cancelling O2 contract due to 07744/07755 price change - Help

Going Off Topic, if anyone can recommend a GOOD 24/5 service to India/Pakistan please let me know. I am going through the international call checker list on MSE, but most companies are either 0871 (not inclusive) or 8-6pm.

(P.S. This is my main line and I do use it to make alot of UK calls. It isn't being used to just to make cheap international calls!)

With the time difference (five or five and a half hours), I rather doubt that many calls to India and Pakistan would be made at off-peak times here, nearly midnight or later there, so perhaps 24 hours cover isn't such a big issue. There are still 0844 calls, and no other network has these from inclusive minutes

correct me if i'm wrong but all the 0844 from the niftylist numbers work 24/7, i use them to call pakistan off peak and weekends no problem.

To Raja there are quite a few (as someone else pointed out) 0844 numbers that can be use at weekend if that is the time you want to callPakistan and india and very good quality. Tried it couple of weeks ago for a friend on my O2 mobile. got the access number from the call checker on this site. But about cancel your contract and keeping your phone. For starters are you sure you did not know it was so widely publish I even got an sms in May about it... But assuming you did not know like say you upgraded in Feb to keep it simple. You can than cancel the contract under that section and you can keep the phone. In fact in all cases the phone is not part of the agreement from day 1 the phone is yours you can say it is a gift to get you to sign up to their network and pay line rental. Some networks aka Orange for example do like to think differently at times but at the end of the day the line rental agreement and phone are seperate.

I have o2 PAYG it was normal sim last week but i transfered to o2 online few days ago to get free monthly allowance.
The problem is When it was normal sim the charges for 0844 nos were just 2p/min but now they charge 5p/min,which is very annoying for me.
I want to ask is there any difference in prices between o2 normal sim and o2 online?
