Play.com and BargainCrazy: Time from despatch to delivery?

Regarding Play.com, I ordered Wii Disney Sing It for my daughters birthday at the end of November, online it showed as in stock so I paid and assumed that it would arrive within a few days.

By the middle of December I still hadnt recieved this item so I logged into my Play account and it stated item out of stock & will be dispatched as soon as it becomes available again! I ended up phoning them and they were very apologetic but I cancelled my order and they were very quick to refund my account!

I have had a call from home to say that the goods have arrived today, so its not RM fault at all. Play should dispatch within 24 hours if that is what their website states.

dispatching on the 2nd is pointless given RM's first day back is the 4th

I ordered a Ipod charger set and according to them it was despatched on 27th Jan and nothing arrived yet either.

They will not even look into it for 21 days and then you have 7 days to let them know order not arrived, and I am going on holiday just before that date so emailed them to ask if it could be investigated earlier but no they are sticking to the dates and actually got told to get internet access on holiday!!

Not happy, you go on holiday to chill...not to go online and complain!

im still waiting for an order tat was despatched from play.com on december the 9th..... launced appeal, duplicate order was sent out... waiting for that too.....

i ordered and received an xbox 360 game from play.com for my son for christmas, on the day he knocked over the xbox by accident and marked the disc which is now unplayable. I paid by pay pal, do I have any rights of return for this accident ie can I get my money back or replacement? Play.com are not answering me and someone at work mentioned because I paid by credit card I am covered in some way, is this correct?

err no you knocked over the xbox you damaged the disc! if it had turned up damaged then different story i personally think what you are asking is very cheeky considering you damaged it!
