Read more of frugal for dummies
Update spreadsheets with an energy page (gulp)
Sort out my tax return (new code on its way) and avoid a fine
Phone up CC and ask them WHY i have a late payment charge of £12 when I've not paid late GGGGGGRRRRRRRRR

    Spotty socks today
    Work productively

    Hugs to all

    Hi all

I missed you yesterday as was home sick, was almost NSD, but had to get bread.
Today isn't going to be quite such a good day, I decided to bus rather than brave a walk, still not feeling 100% but needed to be at work really.

    So today I have/will

*Making coffee instead of buying, desperate to go all of Jan without buying starbucks
*Bought lunch in and nana's for snacks
*stocked up on WW cookies at £land - £2 for 3 boxes instead of £1 in supermarket
*Not a NSD as had to get some bits for Mr sibles as well as cookies, he's still not right, so got more meds and throaties (£land!)
*Will attempt 2 dooyoo reviews, as not done any for a while
    *look for clicks
    *do anything on onepoll
*need to book a Pampered Chef party in January to stay active and get back into it
*Looking at booking a holiday with my sister on the Travelodge site in their sale
*Will look for cheap train tickets
*Will look for free things to do in London on birthday trip at end of Feb

Think that is all for now.
Clicking, searching and surveying my way to a life of debt freedom!

My 'small dfw thing I have done today' was attempt to come into work a bit earlier to get on MSE website and be motivated but ended up 10 minutes late!!

I won't commit myself to any dedicated diaries or challenges or anything because my past record proves I can't actually maintain any dedication to anything.

I have 'filed' away all of my credit cards so I suppose that is a step in the right direction to sorting out my personal finances.

    Today I will:

    Check my bank balance
List 5 items (at least) on ebay

There! That's it. List of two tasks are better than none I suppose.

I am currently sitting in my depressing 1960s office block in a pokey little office alone. Actually relieved that my manager isn't it because I am beginning to dislike him an awful lot!

I have to try and get out of this job but due to the employment situation at present it looks like I will be stuck here for a while yet.

I have zero motivation, zero energy and this place can only be described as a 'mood hoover'!

My boss employed me as I was extremely enthusiastic about my future and excited about the prospects of this job but its awful and I am a radically changed person (all in the space of 6 months since I started)

Anyway, onwards and upwards I reckon.

Get my massive list of two done then to compile a list for tomorrow.

At least its Friday's eve and I will be sleeping all weekend!!

    Cheerio all!!

    Morning all - brrr!

    Things I have done today:

    * Found out that the lottery ticket I bought yesterday with £1 of the £20 I found on the floor in the snow won £90! Can't believe it! A couple of friends asked if they could give me £1 for a ticket as well so actually only have £60 for me and OH (he also bought a ticket) but hey, it's still brilliant! Yesterday was definitely my day!

    * Checked banking, all fine

    * Researching burglar alarms, fire extinguishers etc for new house - getting keys tomorrow!

    * Daily scratches - 2 x 10p

    * Brought in HM lentil soup, fruit and HM banana bread for lunch, had porridge for breakfast.

    * Thinking now of a dinner for tonight, possibly this: http://www.recipe-ideas.co.uk/recipes-2/Butternut%20Squash~%20Carrot%20&%20Parsnip%20Ragout.htm - Yum!

Sorry about this, but I have just read your post and well done for the surprising win!!! Yay!!!

What are the daily scratches that you have mentioned? Do they take long to do? Can you point me in the right direction to read up and maybe get started? Are they like the 'clicking' websites? (I used to do this but was far too distracted and never ended up fulfilling my daily clicks! Maybe its time to get started again!)

    Cheers
