Simply update Firefox to the latest version - that way you'll know which one you've got !

Not when compared to Internet Explorer it's not !

Although I will concede that the latest version of Google Chrome is even less of a hog, and now they've sorted it out, it's a LOT less crashy than earlier versions.

I used to use ZA, but switched to McAfee - free because I signed up as a Beta Tester.

New version of firefox completely broke it - won't even load. Gave up on it now and switch to chrome which is much faster and better to use imo. At least internet explorer loads before it crashes :rolleyes:

Without delving into your PC I couldn't tell you why Firefox is crashing on it - I'm not having any difficulty at all - and I'm currently watching digital TV (tvcatchup) using it (obviously in a separate window)

Perhaps your PC needs a good clean ?
I recommend Piriform CCleaner - it's fast, efficient, easy to use and FREE.
