Hi all,
really sorry I couldn't make it, I woke up at about midday with a banging headache, was considering getting showered and dressed when I had a phonecall from boyfriend down in Lille with his family, it appears that his dad had a stroke or an aneurysm (are they the same thing?) this morning. They think he's ok but his vision seems to have gone a bit funny and they're keeping him in hospital for observation. Apparently he's said that maybe he'll need to stop drinking and smoking now, so he seems to have kept his sense of humour at least! After that I just didn't really feel like going out and being sociable, so I'm really disappointed that I didn't get to meet you all, but am hoping for the best for the next one which I hope is soonI hope everyone had lots of fun though.
Caroline xx**Thanks to everyone on here for hints, tips and advice!**:D

Am I the first home? or just the first to report in?
Had a nice day today, went to 'The diet & fitness' exhibition (free ticket, plenty of freebies), then on to the meet up
Good to see so many faces to put the names to.
It was rather rowdy in the pub, not us............ I hasten to add, so I didn't get to talk to everyone, but feel we all know each other from chatting on here anyway.
Here's to the next one :T Come along, don't be shy, we won't allow you to.
