I'm sorry I didn't get there in the end - DH was ill and I didn't want to leave him.

I'll try to get to the IWM.

Anyone who thinks they may be worried in case they don't know anyone don't fret, we all get along so well, and if you think about it we all 'know' each other from on here ,and its really no different.Within ten minutes everyone is chatting away and no one should feel shy,the more the merrier.I think there were about a dozen all told including some OHs and our group just kept growing. We pushed all the tables together and nabbed extra chairs as folk joined in.I think we were probably a bit better behaved than the loudly singing football supporters but they too were no trouble .I shall hopefully get to the next one at the Imperial War Museum as I love going there, but the resteraunt wasn't very good the last time I was there so maybe we will have to find a nicer place to eat.

I thought if they have a space for visitors with picnics we ought to take a picnic and share food, no? What more OS than that! Will propose it on the thread and see what people think.

  • Good idea Caterina as long as the weather is O.K. I'm up for that.
