Guys,
I just wanted to let you all know of the deal that the broadband deal I went for.
It was TalkTalk Broadband and Home Phone which is currently FREE for 12 months!
Normally this deal is £6.99 a month + L/Rental of £11.49/month.
All I am now paying for the first 12 months is my Line Rental, thats it, for a year.
So, just run down, you get upto 24 Mb broadband ( my line is capable of 14mb), up to a 40 GB download limit, Evening and Weekend Calls (incl. 0845/0870) + Anytime Local Calls to any Landline in my local area.
Sorry to go on like I have shares with TalkTalk ( I don't). But I was massively impressed with the value of this deal, and I was suprised when this deal was not mentioned on here, as it is clearly better value than anything else on here.
Apparently (as the guy in the Carphone Warehouse Told me) you can only get this deal from a Carphone Warehouse Store.:money:
Anyhow, I hope this saves someone some money.
Thanks,
Joseph

If you click here it tells you how to sign up, you can do it over the phone but have to sign up to a 24 month contract and pay a £29.99 connection fee. This means all in all, after the 24 months are up you would have paid £389.63 (£16.23 per month).
Not too bad i suppose, but I dont know if I want to sign to a 24 month contract.
What do you make of their broadband service, as I have heard many negative reviews.0 -
Of course there is a catch with this - you end up with TalkTalk phone and broadband for the next two years.0

Spot on, wait for the Talk Talk complaints to arrive on here with the rest of them.
Can't people see that they are buying a " service " not a tin of beans?
Don't believe me, try calling their service centre.0 -
The views are mixed on the Thinkbroadband TalkTalk page. (As a newbie I can't paste the link but it's an interesting read)I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0
