Can you please help.
We're trying to manage our money as best we can. A couple of times recently we've bounced a payment.
Lloyds tsb take charges from us like clockwork but I have never been able to tell how much they are going to hit us with.
We have removed the paper statements so we no longer get any notification of the charges.
Having asked a lloyds staff member where the charges were shown she said over there somewhere- oh actually you can't have any charges outstanding.
Please help!

SHOCKING IF YOU ARE TRYING TO MANAGE YOUR ACCOUNTS.
If you are having problems managing your account - get your paper statements reinstated. They tell you the day and the amount of charges comming out.
Why on earth would you disable it if you are having problems????
You cannot physically see when the charges are going to come out on the interent.
If you keep going overdrawn - get a cash account. You will not be charged daily fees. The downside of this is that you can only use it at lloyds cash points. Get an easy saver savings account purely for the card which you can use at any cash point to get cash out. If you are in collections you cannot get new accounts.
Get mobile banking as well if you can afford it. They send you a text message in the morning so you can put in money by 3:30 to avoid charges. Moinitor your accounts daily to avoid charges.
Good luck0 -
Yeah, when in online, click STATEMENT then look at the top of your screen. I can do this on my mobile phone, if you have a pc you're surely able.0

I love how critical people on here can be.
It is a cash card account. The bounced payments come from direct debits that are taken after LLoyds take their charge.
The paper billing has been cancelled since paper billing was allowed to be cancelled as I check everything on line weekly.
However according to Lloyds I should be able to see my charges.
The question was simply does anyone know where the charges are displayed.
if i need to reinstate the paper statements then I will but it seems like a terrible waste when it is probably already shown somewhere.craft craft craft!0 -
As far as I know they cannot be viewed anywhere apart from the statement page.0

Hello leelypants,
What do you mean bounced payment. Does the money leave the account and then bounces back?
Surely charges are applied a couple of days after the bounce or you go overdrawn.
In the bank's T & C's it will have a list of standard charges.
For example £25 for writing a cheque when you do not have funds to pay it. (bounced cheque) The computer will apply these automatically.
So you should be able to work out what the fee will be.
I think to help you we need a bit more information. SorryThere will be no Brexit dividend for Britain.0 -
Lloyds will notify you when the charges are due to come out.
You normally have a few weeks notice.
If you do not budget for their charge to come out, it will come out anyway and sometimes put you into an unplanned overdraft.
If you had reserved that money (which got eaten up by charges) for those direct debits and/or standing orders, they will get returned and you will get a charge of £20 per returned standing order and direct debit.
So the key in your case lellypants is to find out when those charges are due to come out and budget for them in advance. Also, keep note of when your direct debits and standing orders are due to come out, to avoid further charges.
Internet banking is a good tool to help you manage your accounts. BUT please opt in for the paper statements in the mean time till you take control of your account. Its not a "terrible waste" if it will help you manage your account and not incurr charges.
As for your orginal question, it does not show. You only have the letters they send you for your records.0
