Do you think i would give the OP duff info then.:D
    Certainly not by intent!

I think the risk is that BT does it wrong.

Thanks SVardysShadow. I thought something like this....

Robbie, can you please explain me WHAT SHOULD I DO during the time of expiry. I wanted to get on to a monthly rolling contract and would not want any free call packages from BT. As indicated in my post I only need landline for my BB and o2 provides me that.

I would appreciate it if Robbie can provide me a solution as to what should I be dong to get what I want after the expiry.

    Regards,
    Baldude.
I think now you have had the answer from a BT rep, that settles it. If you are still worried, of course you could just copy off the BT reps reply and write to BT telling them that this is your understanding and for them to write back if it is incorrect. Just keep a copy of what you write and you will be OK.

[For the others in this thread - I think that BT have a problem in that no one trusts them these days over being put on to a contract with cancellation fees and without their knowledge. This problem is entirely of BT's own making]

Thanks DVardysShadow and others who contributed your replies to this thread.

Yes, my only concern is that I cant take anything for granted/assumed with BT.
Let me see how it goes.

    Thanks to all.

    Hello baldude,

If your contract is coming up to expire and you do not want to renew your landline contract you do not need to do anything. We will continue to provide your landline service however this will not be on any contract. So this means if you decide you cancel your service after your contract has ended you can do this with out any cancellation charges.

    Thanks
