Even though I work for a rival supermarket ( some of whose drivers didnt return till 2am this morning).Give them a breakToday some staff walked for hours to get to and from supermarkets. there was only a skeleton staff in many shops . None of our shops didnt open in our chain as far as I know.If the worst snow for 30 years doesn't allow for a few problems what is allowable ( nuclear war?)
i dont know if its just me but im not too fussed bout the delivery not arriving and im not blamin the staff the thing thats botherin me is the fact that theyve taken the money they told me to re-order so i did 3 times as each one got cancelled and theyve taken all the money! one of the orders was for tuesday last week surely they shud have put it back into my account now0 -

I'll give you a Clue stants with B ends with K - BANK- they have a Fraud depatment - and there is dishonesty if they are telling you only one debit has been made. And Consumer Direct did tell me that, why else would I repeat it??
There is no dishonesty. It is called (if anything) a M-I-S-T-A-K-E.
Complete overreaction.0 -

!!!!!! I only replied to the op maybe you could do the same if you have anything to add to th OP's post, a polite way would be nice instead of being Cocky & rude as you are to me.
The only thing wanted in this post is a refund with out a performance I waited 6 weeks for mine - is that what you call a mistake? I call it Bad customer service.
Hopefully you will have the same service one day - Im sure any store would be glad of a patient customer like you .0 -

I think if you check, you will see that it is a public forum.
Accusing people of fraud is a slander. There is absolutely no truth in it. Verify your facts first would be my suggestion.0 -

I ordered a sofa from ASDA direct. Waited for the courier to call me with a delvery date. Before the courier called I cancelled the order. ASDA did refund the cost of the sofa within 3 days. However they did not refund the delivery charge. I contacted ASDA on 08/03/10 to enquire about the refund of the delivery charge and was told it would be authorised straight away, and would take 3-5 days to be credited back to my account. I am still waiting to receive the money 10 DAYS later!! I have telephoned ASDA this morning only to have someone telling me that yes the refund was actioned on 08/03/10. Having checked with my bank (who tell me a refund should take 3 days maximum to be credited) only to find they have never had anauthorisation from ASDA. I went back to ASDA and was handed to a "Manager" who promised to call back after speaking to the Finance department. She never called, I rang again only to be told that there was a "technical problem last Monday" and th e refund has been actioned today!!!!!!! but will take 2-3 days to be credited to my account.
Moral don't use ASDA direct0 -
This happened to my sister,
1. she had £200 in her bank
2. she ordered £100 of groceries from asda
3. asda reserved the £100 at her bank
4. asda slightly change this final amout and charge her £99
5. Asda/Bank dont release the £100 for 10 days,
6. She has no money for 10 days until asda release
This is ASDA's fault as they dont release the reserved amount.
She also racked up £15 of phone charges to bank/asda 0845 numbers.
How much money is this making the banks/asda?
Say 100 000 x £100 reserved for 10 days.
So over a year 10 million at 5% is £500k and £1.5 million in call charges.
THIS COMPANY IS SCUM. GOODBYE ASDAThe world is full of usury.
Use microsoft excel to write down all money in and all money out.
