Well if it was any decent company, I would advise that you ring them, however this is Talk Talk that have a dreadful telephone helpline, so you are probably best off joining their forum, and asking on there.0

go onto the talktalk members forum and ask them to change your profile to a more stable one0

Mongoose & Inactive gave you the best advice as no one on these forums can actually help you.

Join the above and post your queries there where there as TT reps on hand to help.
Pointless doing it on here because all you`ll get is a load of nonsense about how bad TT is.
I`ve been with them for 3 years and can`t fault them.0 -
Not quite sure what you do for help if your Talk Talk Broadband is down and you cannot access their forum.

may be it'll sort itself out

"For the first 10 days of your broadband service, your phone line is trained to give you the possible highest speed. During this time you may experience slow speeds or disconnections. If you still have problems after the initial 10 days, check your cables and connections."0 -

That doesn't relate to it cutting off, does it?0 -
Hi silkyUK9,
Sorry for the delay getting back to you.
Could you please let me know what router you are using? When you loose connection could you let me know what lights go off on the router? If you could post up your modem stats too I can take a look at what may be causing the problem (for TalkTalk routers you can access router settings by entering 192.168.1.1 into your address bar - username and password are both admin).
Its also worth checking your router is set to always on, sometimes called nailed up. If you don't have this option then you can set the idle time to 0. If you have registered for the TalkTalk Members forums then we can provide further assistance there for you.
If you are on an LLU service with TalkTalk there is no 10 day training period so this would not apply. This is only aplicable for customers on an IP stream ADSL Max service.
Cheers

Several things may be causing this - All of them a little technical.ive a new internet and phone line service with talktalk. but in the last day ive noticed lose to the internet, my connection just cuts off at periods when im online. Any advise on this please.
A good service provider will talk you through these from their UK service centre.
But as you are on talk talk, forums are the only way to go.
Have you plugged it all in correctly?
Are the microfilters in correctly
Do the lights go out on the router?
Is this definitely the router/phone line and not your computer?0
