They're obviously very busy at the moment.
Our car blew up Monday, I called them and was told they are not taking on any more callouts due to a backlog. I was told to call again in 24 hours.
Luckily I also have greenflag cover who came out within the hour.

    That is outrageous.

Someone was on the radio this morning when he called them when his car didn't start he was told because he was at home and the car on the path, it was not an emergency and because of their current workload , it would be a 12hr wait.

Ditto thats really very bad! Shame on you AA. I will be rejoining the AA end of the month. I phoned them to cancel the membership before Christmas, got through straight away. They never want you to leave though, very pushy, so said I had sold the car! I will be purchasing my AA though cashback site to get £42 back, and pay £99 before cash back, instead of £170 what they wanted:rolleyes:

TBH someone who is broken down out in the middle of nowhere is a priority in this weather compared to someone who cant get to work, atleast they can go indoors and wont freeze. The AA and any other recovery company only has so many patrols they can send out
Everyones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.

I haven`t got the same problem or any other.
The OP said they haven`t been able to contact the AA for THREE weeks.
I just used the number I always use to contact them and it would have been pointless posting it if that was not working in the current climate either.
So I tried it and it worked.
