tuning freeview help

ive just got a humax recorder and just finding my way round it

i have auto searched twice the channels and am missing loads
is this normal
fiver,five usa,itv3 virgin,citv,qvc
to name a few
,but these are the ones i would want
i can get them on sky but i might want to tape them
how do you manual do codes or where do i get codes from

my son gets fiver upstairs on the same ariel

Check out the Digital Spy Humax forum, plenty of knowledgeable people over there.

For a manual tune you will need you transmitter details,(whereabouts you live),
