Should I try calling them tomorrow during my lunch break? Or just leave it a bit?

Well I've only had about 2-3" of global warming drop down last night, so not too bad at all. Hope it keeps the traffic down.
This turned out to be 5" of global warming when I cleared it off the car. It did make the roads quiet though.
The gritting round here is being very selective - i.e. gritting all the roads I'm *not* travelling on...DH got home as far as outside the house but couldnt manage to get the car on the driveway. I legged it out with me spade in PJs and wellies (that's a look that'll catch on)
You trying to compete with Snag's street-wear?The cold and effort triggered me to have an asthma attack too, so much wheezing, gasping and puffing on inhalers.
Be careful - the cold air is no good for anyone with a weak chest.Burlesque_Babe wrote: »good job nobody has just seen me to take any snaps - I looked like an eco warrior mixed with a bag lady. Decided to sweep the non-iced side of the drive and move the snow. So, I'm wearing jumper, scarf, gloves, skirt.......and hiking boots :rotfl: I haven't worn them since I injured my back because they are too heavy for my weaker foot but at least I didn't slip like I do in normal shoes. I mut have looked a right sight - even more so because I'm stood on a slope bending over at an angle sweeping:eek:
If you'd been dressed in a short skirt up to the Kyber Pass, you would have looked so much more of a sight (or blended in on the Bigg Market). Proper winter clothing in a proper winter is properly appropriate.I am not driving anywhere in the next couple of days if I can help it, almost ended up mounting the curb on the way home from work as a car skidded infront of me and did a spin and the only place to avoid them was to swerve around, no chance of stopping:eek:

Thanks Tenmah - I'm having huge problems with sizes at the moment so definitely need a tape measure before I order...
It seems that random/vanity sizing has got worse in the last few months - long gone are the days when I would walk into a shop and pick a 10 without thinking about it...now I wear a six in some, an 8 in others its just crazy...bring back standard sizes I reckon!
There are standard sizes already - they're called "inches" and you can find them in all the finest (men's) clothing..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
