help with blackberry 9700

big nokia fan, and this is my first berry!

I feel like i have strated studies at a university reading through blackberry owner websites, reading the 2 liitle books that come in the package but they are very basic and no much info and they are few things that 9700 owners outthere can help if you could

1- When i writte email or text, in order to put a DOT or a question mark at the end of the sentence i need to click ALt then the question mark? cant it be done with one hand? if not blackberry suck!

2- in the middle of the sentence i have to add a number and again i need to press Alt then the desired number? if thats the case blackberry sucks!

3- my nokia e71 , if people called me, the nokia would sound the name of the caller- can this muppet do that? if not .....
4- my old / dirty / sexy e71 , any new email addres i added on my computer, next minute it would be automatically added on my nokia address- i had yahoo with nokia i got yahoo with blackberry .


the only advantage i see, on reviews it said its imposible to pair with bluetooth devices but by contrary this clicks very fast with m,y bluetooth .

anyone can help with the above i d greattly appreciate

When writing an email or text click space and the dot will be placed at the end of the sentence. Can be done with one hand. Add email addresses through your BIS.

It doesn't sound the name of the caller.

Yes you have to press ALT to go to upper case.

Oh and I LOVE Blackberries. Much better than the over hyped iPhone.

to do a full stop, double press space at the end of the sentence.

to do a number, press and hold, and it will go into a number.

only nokia have the stupid system where it attempts to say the caller name. no other mobile phone provider offers that, and if it was sooo important to you, surely you should have found that out afterwards..

number 4 isn't even a question, but you just log into BIS, and add an e-mail account. boom, done

thanks for the input guys.

I keep pressing the number and holding it but no number appears.

the sounding of the name of the person that rings is important and yes i should have found earlier that.
when i m on motorbike, i can hear the callers name and i can decide if i have to stop for an important one, get helmet off, get gloves off, pick the phone...
But if my landlord calls, i dont wanna stop
its same with my work, im a plasterer and the more i touch the berry berry the more plasterer it gets, who s calling, decides if i have to pick or not .

i think nokia had yahoo syncronised, thats why it addded adresses straight away
