    No, she does not need a cat sized rabbit - she needs an owner to look after her properly so she does not get into that state instead of laughing and thinking a cat in distress is funny.

    Aw poor little thing. I had my girl spayed before her first heat so I didn't experience it but a friend of mine had a cat in heat and it was an awful site to see. She sat there crying & crawling along the ground with her bum in the air. I also read somewhere that when the male cat withdraws it's very painful for the female.

    If a cat in season goes out she is often chased by a number of toms which can result in her becoming disorientated & unable to find her way home.

    Please make an appointment to get her neutered asap

    just a bit incredulous though - I have met peachyprice on threads before and just expected her to have more knowledge (or a different attitude) re: getting cats neutered/keeping them in I suppose... especially as she is not a new cat owner.
