phone sims on other networks?

Does anyone have any idea which (other network) sims work in most phones?,asda sims,which n.work, tesco sims ect, where can i find out please? so that i can get a sim for to work in one of the numerious old phones i have spare in the drawer thanks for any info:T

If a phones locked to a network, only that networks sim will work in it.
The fact that some virtual networks piggyback on the real networks doesn't mean that the sim compatible. The network codes (which the sim/network use to access) are different for every network.0 -
I suggest getting an unlocked phone or getting your current phone unlocked. This will allow you to have any network sim card of your choice.Kind Regards
