poxy weather....

got in tonight started snowing about 6.30pm by 8.15pm sky pixellated unwatchable go outside to look at dish snow sitting on arm of dish in front of reciever end had to go out back to get a 6ft batten left over from decking whack the metal arm to get rid of snow hey presto all working fine again and its not even snowing that hard anyway to my point of this thread any one else having this issue at all or is it just me?

    Not advisable to "whack" the arm - either cause damage to LNBs or upset alignment - think a soft broom might be a better option.!!!!

    Wish mine was that easy, its 30ft up on a chimney. Back to freeview it looks like.

    I doubt that the snow will affect your Freeview adversely.

    Sky/satellite yes.
  • Yeah getting the same problem myself, annoyingly. Unfortunately, I dont even have freview so I'm scuppered!
