I suppose if the mother is paying or those attending are likely to be vulnerable, then the question could be posed or if the question is in-loco due to mitigating circumstances.

You could look for local community centres which would be cheaper to hire out then book a DJ same with any local clubs ie sports/social even church halls/warehouses (best party I ever went to was in a warehouse drapes were hung to make it look nice)
    Buy for value not cost.
    Feb Grocery = £55.87 / 80

If she wants R&B, the massive clubs in the Printworks will probably suit but they'll be very busy at the weekends and not that cheap. There is Tiger Tiger, Pure, Opus etc all in there. Depending what you like, you probably love them or hate them. They all involve quite a lot of stairs though, which may be an issue if she's disabled.

https://www.visitcopacabana.co.uk - is a Latin American club in the Northern Quarter. I haven't been but apparently its good.

Mmm I was thinking Pure, doubt you'll do far wrong with that.

Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig
  • Ahh.. reminds me of nights out at the Ritz, 42nd Street, 5th Avenue back in the 90s

For a group of girls, why not go to the The Birdcage on a saturday:
The Birdcage hosts an outrageous party every Saturday, with a combination of drag queens, showgirls and cheesy music.

Here is a website of nightclubs in manchester: http://www.whathappenedlastnight.net/manchester/clubs/

The other side of town from the Printworks is Coliseum on Peter Street (used to be called M2) which is R&B etc on a Saturday.

Not really my bag, but nicer than Pure (which is a horrible, lifeless place in my opinion but its not really my scene anyway).

The Gay Village is another interesting place for a night out which she could consider...
  • Pure is a dreadful place, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Copa cabana is great, the Birdcage is fine for a girls night out
